I had a horrible fall in 2001 (Sept 29th) in a Shoney's in Arkansas. I went into the air and came down on my left hip on concrete. Broke my hip socket and all. I have a full hip replacement. I have no problem walking, doing most things, but it definitely changed some things for me.

Yours sounds like you had lots more trouble than me. I only had to use a walker for 8 days when I got out of the hospital. The Dr said he'd never seen anyone do that before - gave it up the day I got the staples out. I just thank God for that.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762588867431355249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6324861170475297956.post-69212409625695009032007-07-20T08:55:00.000-05:002007-07-20T08:55:00.000-05:00I had to come back to tell you that I just love th...I had to come back to tell you that I just love the graphics you've added to your blog! I put an explanation on my blog about Apples of Gold but here is what it is:
Betty Huizenga started the mentoring program, Apples of Gold, in 1995. It is a six-week program originally designed for the women of her church in Holland, MI. Apples of Gold was published in March 2000 by Cook Communications Ministries. Each session includes one hour of cooking class, one hour of Bible study based on Titus 2:3-5, and a fellowship hour enjoying the food that was prepared in class. The six lessons are led by six different mentors. Though designed to nurture and pamper the younger women, the mentors receive a great blessing as well. Lasting friendships are made through the ministry of Apples of Gold. There are suggested menus for the cooking mentor, and a prayer chorus for each lesson..Ramblins of a middle-aged goddesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11382683724151287591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6324861170475297956.post-80601547421544630032007-07-19T12:37:00.000-05:002007-07-19T12:37:00.000-05:00wow- so sorry you have gone through such an ordea...wow- so sorry you have gone through such an ordeal. It is something that we have to be careful about BUT I think if we think about it too much then we WILL fall. I just keep going and try not to think about it. Thanks for sharing your story.
