Needing More Prayer!!

It is snowing here today! Not a lot but enough to feel like Christmas!
Well, since I wrote my last post things got hard!! I don't think I told you all that the kidney specialist told me to drink more water.
SO I did!! Oh My!! Each evening my feet were a little more swollen until Friday night and they were so swollen that in a couple places they cracked and bled. Not good! Karen and Kelly cleaned them up and propped them up with pillows.
I called my Doctor and they told me he said to call the kidney specialist. The Kidney special is out of his office until Monday morning.

I have labs this week so Please keep praying that the creatine will go down! THANKS!! IF they don't that means you have permanent kidney damage and will have to be on dialysis in time.
I have one more deal..... My body must be making insulin! This week my blood sugar has fell to 40 twice and the worst was the night before Thanksgiving when it dropped to 31 and everything was going dark. My Doctor has decreased my insulin but it is still falling but not as bad.
I hate to make this into a medical post but I need your prayers so much!! I must get well!!
I was able to go and visit some of you a little on Wednesday but I had to stop because of the swelling in my feet.
So I need to get well for many reasons but one reason IS I love to blog!!

I'm sorry to hear things have not improved.
Dear Father God,
We lift up our dear friend, Carolyn to you. We ask that you send divine healing for her body. Help it to rid itself of the poison in the way you designed it to do. We know that all things work together for good for those who know you. We know that you can make a miracle happen. Father, please surround your child with your wings of love and heal her body if it is your will. We ask this in the name of our Savior and your son, Christ Jesus.

Someone needs to buy you a laptop. Then you can sit with your feet up, the computer on a lap desk in your lap and just keep on blogging.
We love you,
Mama Bear

I'm so sorry about the problems you're experiencing!

When I was having cellulitis and needed to keep my foot propped up, I bought a small padded footstool at Target. That helped a lot. I keep using it because the dr. said swelling in my legs was making them "ripe" for cellulitis, so I still use it when I am sitting at the desk for long.

Or a laptop works nicely, too! I don't have one yet, but whenever we need to replace this one I'd like to get one.

Hope you're better soon!

Well, Grams, I am so sorry to hear this! Are you on lasix for the fluid? I take that as I have a circulatory problem in one leg and my lower leg and ankle swells bad, too. And I sit all the time with my work on the computer, which is not good at all.

Visit my blog as there is another blogger in the hospital with a collapsed lung. He has emphysema and has been having a rough time of it. So I will add you to my prayers....prayer is the best medicine, so my grandma always told me.

Keep those feet elevated higher than your heart, and I'll keep checking in on you! I, too, lover blogging, but I still work 2 jobs and love my work, so it doesn';t leave me much time to blog. I try, so I'll check back with you every couple of days to see how you are!

Love you! And lots of ((((((( HUGS )))))) for you, too!

Dearest Carolyn,

My prayers are with you, dear friend. When your feet swell up to the point where they crack and bleed, no that's no good at all. Wish you would have been able to see the kidney specialist right away. Don't these things always happen before the weekend when the offices are closed??!!! Thinking of you and sending healing vibes:-) xoxo

You just take care of yourself and we will come here...... I will remember to pray for that kidney problem and that insulin problem.. The Lord is able to touch and heal...... The word tells us that when two or three agree as touching something it shall be accomplished by the Father....... soooooooooo I agree with Love Bears all Things in her prayer and where two agree,,,, it shall be done......... AND I believe for that laptop for you!!!!!! God can do that toooooooooooo.......
