This is how I feel today!! I am the little bear in bed and Nancy is the little bear taking care of me!! She just fixed me a big glass of pineapple, orange, banana juice with Sprite and lots of Ice!! It was so good going down!! So far she hasn't come down with this type of flu like stuff. Praise God!! I have been so sick and now I am tired of being sick!! I have heard this stuff lingers for about 3 weeks! I sure hope not!! Thanks for your prayers for all of us. Karen was able to work this week. Kelly worked yesterday afternoon and today but she still feels bad.

Have I told every one that Jey and Sofia are having a new baby in June! It is another little boy!! Valerie is 2 and will be 3 in August and Baby Kevin will be a year old in June! She will have her hands full indeed!! If I have posted about this before just put it down to a senior moment! Or a proud Great- Grandma! Sofia isn't feeling good either so please remember her in prayer! Thanks!
I can't get my spell check to work on here!! That is not a good thing!!!

Grams,

Nancy is a doll. Tell her I'm very proud of her for taking such good care of you. The drink she made you sounds delicious.

Congratulations on the new baby. My niece, Melissa is also expecting again for July. Griffyn will be a year old on June 28th. She is going to have her hands full as well. Right now she has the flu. Please keep her in your prayers.

I'm glad you enjoyed my Black History post. Thank you for letting me that Cynthia from Walking On has posted. I wondered what happened to her.

Take care of yourself. I'm praying that Nancy doesn't get this stuff, whatever it is.

Love and hugs,
Mary

I was wondering why you hadn't blogged lately! I surely hope this doesn't last three weeks.

Good Afternoon Grams,
Sorry your still not feeling up to par. Tell Nancy "THANK YOU" for taking such good care of you. The drink she fixed you sounds so good and I wish I had one of them right now. I love fruit drinks like that. I'll keep praying that Nancy doesn't get this stuff. Our youngest daughter came home from School yesterday not feeling good. She had went to stay all night at my Sister's and I had to go get her around 6:30p.m. She had been throwing up. She threw up some last night but I had some phynegran that comes in a tube and she can rub on her wrist. That helped her some and she slept. I fixed her some potato soup a bit ago and she was able to eat all that I put in her bowl. I'm hoping she can keep it down. I hope Karen and Kelly starts feeling better soon as well. Take care my friend and have a great day and weekend. May God Bless You and Yours. I'll be praying for everyone to get better.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hey Grams,
I guess I must be having a Senior Moment as well. LOL. I forgot to "CONGRATULATE" you on being a new Great-Grandmother. I will be praying for Sophi as well. She is probably having some morning sickness. Hey, it's good to have Senior Moments like that. I know I would be doing that. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hi Grams,
Thank you for thinking of us and praying in the wee hours. I'm so glad Nancy is taking good care of you and I pray that you'll be all better very soon. Most of these new strains of viruses just have to wear themselves out but yours is sure taking it's time! :)

I woke up this morning with my sinuses pouring. I just hope it doesn't turn into bronchitis which is usually the case with me. I have to stay strong here so please continue to pray. DH went for more blood work today and they increased his blood thinner again. It is thinning out very slowly. Hopefully they can get it regulated soon. The doc says he will probably be on blood thinner the rest of his life. The shots in the tummy is what he dreads now. He can't find a spot to put the needle that isn't bruised already! Maybe they can get him off those soon.

You are a real friend and a blessing to me and I thank God for you.

Love and Hugs,
Hope

And isn't Nancy just sweet as peaches takin' care of her mama while she's down? That is great! I DO hope she doesn't GET it though... does she wear a face mask while she's seeing to you?
