Thursday!!

Girly Comments & Graphics

This is how I'm feeling today!! Give me the chocolate and no one will get hurt!! I can't have sugar or salt so I am starting to crave both!!!

Our big news is Kelly has found the SUV that she was looking for these past few weeks. We have been with out a car for about 3 weeks!! It is not a brand new SUV just new to us!! Everybody has been so kind and given Kelly rides to and from work! My friends Jackie and Lilly have taken us to Doctors appointments!
Boy, do we appreciate their kindness!!!Wow!
Thanks so much!! She is getting a SUV because she can put wheel chairs and walkers into the back. She works in our home town, so she will have good gas mileage and her insurance won't be as expensive as if she worked in Kansas City. It is black and very pretty.
They brought it down today with the owner to see if I can get in and out of it with out a lot of trouble! I could get into it fine, but will need a small step stool to get out of it. I am used to getting out of Karen's truck which is a girly truck and easy to get in and out of it!

I will be so Thankful to have a way to get around in again and not have to bother our friends!! It is a beautiful day today with the temperature near 55 degrees!!

Good afternoon my dear Carolyn. Nothing like getting a new vehicle!! And trust me, I've always had trouble getting in and out of high clearance vehicles! Once they did away with the running boards of long ago, it's tough on us short people!!

Glad to see you up and about, blogging! I too craved chocolate....that's eerie. And I'm not supposed to have the high saturated fat content of the GOOD chocolate...the sugar/fat free stuff isn't anything but colored wax....so, I broke down and got me a Heath Bar. Oops, sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned that part.

Have a terrific day.

That graphic is so cute -- and so true!

I am glad for the new vehicle! I know your friends are glad to help, but it is nice not to have to ask them.

Carolyn,

An SUV will be perfect for your family and it will be easy to get any type of equipment into the back. Kelly made a good choice.

As Anni says, they should still have running boards. I mentioned them to the boys one day and they had no clue what I was talking about. I'm not sure why they did away with them. They sure made it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.

A tiny bit of chocolate is nice for a treat and I know how you feel when you crave it and can't have it.

Take care, my friend. So nice to know you are doing good and blogging a little.

Enjoy your evening.
Blessings,
Mary

Russel Stover has a wonderful line of sugar free chocolates. Can you have those. I know what it is to crave foods. Sometimes I don't even know what it is I want. Usually if it is something salty, a couple of olives do the trick. I also crave protein.
I'm sure your friends were happy to be able to carry you places but it is nice when you don't have to ask.
I have to sit down and swing my legs around when I get into a car because of my back. My daughter has an SUV. I put my foot on the running board, grab the handle and sit then swing around. Just get a little stool to keep in the car and you'll be fine.

Good to hear from you again. So glad about the new SUV. I know it is not a very pleasant thing to be without a vehicle. We had the step bars put on our truck to make it easy to get in and out. I am short and heavy and it is hard getting in without some kind of help.

God bless.

Am so glad you are going to have a vehicle. Ours has been in the shop for a couple of weeks b/c of a rear end accident but all is fixed now and good:)
I wish chocolate wasn't so addicting :) I love it too much:)
Hope you enjoy the warmer weather. It is to be in the 50's here today. Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Gimme chocolate and nobody gets hurt...that's usually my motto! lol How wonderful that Kelly is getting that SUV, it certainly will be so much more convenient for all of you to get around in. My friend June has a big truck and you should see me trying to get up and out of it, I have short legs! lol Hope you have a delightful weekend, dear Carolyn. xoxo
