I know it isn't fall yet!! But our weather has been so nice and cool you would think it is September not August!! I think fall is my favorite time of the year. I haven't been out visiting very much this week. I had a phone call from one of Nancy's Doctors office and they needed me to call Medicare. Yikes!! Who knew this was going to consume days!! Well, two of them!! I was on the phone from 9:30 until 1:00!! The day before, for a long time too!! All I can say is ....... The government wants to take over Health Care!! Well, YIKES again! I had to call her secondary insurance also.
Not much news with my ear next to the phone!! OK, I will stop ranting on and on!!
Yesterday was the last day for my visiting nurse. I am doing better and I don't need her to come by anymore!
I hope everyone is feeling good out there! Hope to get out and do some visiting today and tomorrow!

I envy you the cool weather! We haven't had any yet.
You know what? I don't CARE who handles our HEALTH CARE... I just want the WORLD to DO AWAY WITH automated phone service! THAT is the worst invention in the history of the world!
I know how time consuming dealing with red tape can be. You'd think with computers it would be easier. I'm not sure public health is our answer, though. All I've heard has made me a little leery of the whole she bang.
It is good to see you online again and to know you've improved to the point that you don't need the nurse.
We had some Fall like weather last weekend-Tuesday, then back to summer but the weather man says we'll get another little respite after Sunday. I'm ready.

I missed your b-day and I am so sorry.. I have been gone a while myself. Just not enough hours in the day.... and when you start dealing with Medicare you are in for a long wait! I love fall but am not ready for summer to go away...... where did it go!

If you were up here today, you'd swear it was fall. The other day when hubby and I had the boys fishing, Brandon said he could smell fall in the air and he was right. Our summer temperatures averaged about 75, which was fine by me, but today it is really chilly. Sweaters and jackets needed.
I understand about being on the phone. I hope you have it all settled now. It can be so frustrating.

It was in the 40's yesterday and today it's only gone up to 54 so yes, it really does feel like Fall is here already! Fortunately, it's supposed to be a bit warmer for the rest of the week and sunny so maybe we can hang on to Summer for a little while longer:-)
I don't envy you being on the phone with Medicare and such. Sometimes it's a real run around and you end up not being any closer to solving the problem! lol

Hearing people who have had to deal with Medicare makes me think that letting the government run our health care might not be the best choice. I don't know- but I have never heard anyone who loved dealing with Medicare. Anyways- hope you got it all straightened out!
Oh the phone calls I know them well. Did you ever notice how you respond depends on the music you hear and how long you are on hold?
