Happy Thanksgiving to Mary and Pea! Happy Birthday too!!

Happy Thanksgiving to Mary at Mary's Writing Nook and to Pea at Pea's Corner!! October the 12th is the Canadian Thanksgiving! It is also Mary's Birthday on the 12th!! So Happy Birthday to Mary!!
Pea's Birthday is on the 13th so a Happy Birthday to her, too!!!
It was down to 28 degrees this morning! Brr!I haven't turned on the furnace this fall. But more mornings like this and it is coming on!!
Kelly drove down to Sarah's yesterday afternoon and spent the night with them. Kelly's cats are used to sleeping in bed with her and in the night one of them pounced on my leg and thought it was a tree!! I had to get up and put her in the other room and I shut the door!!! Poor Kitty had to find another place to sleep!!

Karen has gone to CSMU to watch Jake run up and down the side lines at their football game! He is studying to be a coach!

That sounds very cool indeed. It has become hot here this afternoon. Did you get my email about the special needs parenting? I hope that my rant was not a hindrance to you. I am so very blessed to have my sweet daughter she is an amazing girl. It is so hard to get the help for her that she needs.
Turn that heater on and grab a sweater only 77? more days till Christmas.

I did not know that this is the Candaian Thanksgiving. It was cold here to. Hubby has started our wood stove. I use a little solar heat from big windows on the south side of our house.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

28 degrees!? You better be turning the furnace on -- you'll have busted pipes next thing we know! Didn't anybody TELL you guys it's ONLY October!? LOL!

I shut my kitty out of my room at night, too. He is too warm to sleep beside me and then he takes a notion that he wants to play and brings me a toy mouse. He tends to sleep all day and play most of the night.
Thanks for reminding me of the girls' Birthdays. Today was the Princess's Birthday. She's 9 now, going on 15.

I was very confused by the header. I am glad that you explained that it was Canadian Thanksgiving. I did not even know that Canada celebrates Thanksgiving. What is it that they are saying thanks for?

I tried to shut our kitties out of our room at night but they cry and scratch at the door. It lasted almost an hour once but I gave up and opened the door

Hello dear Grams!!! Lots o' celebrations today...Mary, Pea tomorrow, Canada's Thanksgiving, and our Columbus Day.

I do hope your Monday will be a terrific day.

Brrrrrrr. I like living in the deep south. Our high was low 70 outside, damp, and comfortable. It's supposed to be back up to "HOT" by the week's end tho.

28 degrees! I'd definitely have my furnace on at that temp! It's only gotten in the 50s here so far, just chilly enough for a sweater.

Thank you so much, dear Carolyn, for the Thanksgiving and Birthday wishes:-) When I woke up this morning I looked outside while making the coffee and gasped...it was a white world out there!! Yup, we got an inch of snow. Ugh! This is much too early and although it's all melted already, it shows that it will soon be here to stay. We've had the furnace on for the past month, it was just getting too cold in the house. Take care my friend and thank you again. Love you! xoxo

Carolyn,

Thank you so much for the birthday and thanksgiving greetings. I had a wonderful day, though some were absent because of illness.

Blessings,
Mary
