Friday!

Here it is Friday!! I think it is time to post again! Thank you for praying for my daughter Carrie. She is feeling so much better today and is up and going. She has gone over to the City with her son Jey and his family. To get to come up to the states and then be sick sure wasn't any fun for her . But that is how it goes sometimes! She is just so glad to be feeling better.Thank you all for your prayers !

I am so glad it has warmed up a little! I don't like it real hot but I don't like it almost 0 either!! It is 43 degree's here today and it feels a lot better then yesterday! Kelly is off work tomorrow so I am hoping we get the tree down! I am ready!! Did you get that!!!
I am ready for every thing to put away!

Be sure and go over to Glo's at Young at Heart Glo has put up a pictures of her cousin's daughter Brande' who has been so ill since the first of Nov. that so many of us
have been praying for each day. She is on the up swing but still has a long road to go before she is fully well. She has a lot of courage!! Praise God for her recovery!

The Missouri Tigers won the Cotton Bowl and the Kansas Jayhawks won the Orange Bowl last night!! Whoo Hooooo! I am so glad both teams won! Cause around here we have the boder wars! No kidding!! People carry on about who is best something terrible! In fact when I said, Now both teams have won, one of my daughters said, Yes, but the Tigers beat the Jayhawks in the Big Twelve North Championship game! It never ends!!
Now if the Chiefs can just get back on track!! We had our worst season in about 30 or 35 years! I love the Chiefs and want them to do good! Well so does every one else around here!! :)

Good Afternoon Grams,
I just love your picture graphics above your post. It is adorable. I'm glad Carrie is feeling better. "PRAISE GOD" indeed. I will have to go over and visit Glo. I've never been to her place before, but I will go over there in a bit and pay her a visit. Our tree is still up also. LOL. I still have the lights going on it too. LOL. It's just so pretty and I don't want to take it down. Hubby made the remark the other day that he thinks this is the best decorated tree we have ever done. Who knows, I may just leave it up all year long. LOL. NOT!!!! I will probably start taking it down next week and have everything ready for him to put in the shed next weekend. I'm glad the Chiefs won their games. We are not much on College Football here. I love to watch High School Football tho. I guess because I went to all the games when I was in school. I'm not all that into it as much as I was in school because all of my friends don't play anymore. I do keep up with my hometown school to see if they win or not. Hubby will be home tonight. They will have to leave out sometime tomorrow. He just got home. I'm going to go for now. You take care and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hi Grams,

Just stopped in to see how you're doing. Am glad to hear your daugher is better, and your weather warmed up some. It was the same here, sunny and 44, but the wind had a bite to it.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,

Renie

PS. I'm in Mo too, but right on the Arkansas line. Hill country.

Carolyn,

Good morning, my friend. I do hope all is well with you. I'm sorry that your daughter was sick. I started off on this trip not feeling well and know what it's like to be away from home and feel terrible. However, I was lucky. The Florida breezes certainly did cure my ailments until the cold front moved in. I'm tired, but feeling well. Just tired. Take care. You and the girls are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love and blessings,
Mary

Hi Grams!! I've been painting most of the day [well, early this morning Bud and I went walking along the beach...but when we got home, I've been busy painting, and just put it all away for the day].

Thanks for dropping by with your howdy. I miss blogging all day long and visiting, but it's time to step down and be with family more. You know how that goes. I'm gonna go do a really cute story for my blog tomorrow morning and then go watch the playoff games with my sweet cheeks.

Have a terrific evening, and a super peaceful Sunday!!!

Hugs to you--------

Hi Carolyn, Glad Carrie is feeling better and your teams won their bowl games!!! I know what you mean about wanting to get the Christmas decorations down soon after Christmas. After Christmas morning I start feeling the house is so dirty until I get everything put away.

I developed a floater on my left eye a few days ago, so I've been having to keep my computer time limited. The glare of the screen bothers me. I have an eye appointment on Tuesday. Maybe he can give me something.

Hope your weekend is going well.
