Friday and we will BBQ

Hello on Friday afternoon! Kelly worked this morning but she drove the riding mower over to Karen's house to get her lawn mowed. We priced little trailers that you can drive your riding lawn mower up on to and hook up to your car or truck. Who would know how expensive these small ones cost!!! Eye opener for this Grandma!!!! So Kelly drives the mower over to Karen's!!
I think Kelly said we will grill out at Karen's this evening. Sounds good to me!! and the best thing is I HAVE my own computer and I don't have to post from Karen's house!! She doesn't mind at all, but is is easier from your own computer and home!!
The nurse was here on Wednesday but she wanted to check my blood pressure this morning so she stopped by for a few minutes. It was a little high 180/80. But after she left and I put my medicine away I discovered I had forgotten to take my meds last night at bedtime! oops!!
I better watch this closer! I am so careful with Nancy's meds!
Well, I hear a lawn mower driving in the drive way so Kelly is home and will be thirsty hot and tired!
I haven't updated about the weight lost for a long time. Karen has now lost 132 pounds!! Kelly
has lost 72 pounds and when my missionary daughter saw Karen's picture she was blown away with her success and gave up gluten and sugar and in two months has lost 32 pounds!
I lost between 15 or 17 pounds depending on who's scales I am on..... I like Kelly's the best! LOL! Hers are right and agree with our Dr's!

The weight loss is WONDERFUL! I was trying to think - what all do you have to give up to get rid of gluten? Basically it's breads - starches? Pasta? And of course, sugar is sweets, plus fruits and juices. Carrots, corn & peas. So basically they are on protein and vegies? Is that it? That's what almost EVERY diet boils down to! No?

Congratulations to everyone on the wonderful weight loss!

It's always good to see you post!

I take 3 prescriptions, and if I don't make a mark on the calendar right when I have them in my hand, I can't remember if I have taken them. And if anything is different from routine I often forget them.

Grams,

Wow! Your family is really taking off the pounds. Congratulations to all of you. I've lost a little this year myself, but not as much as all of you have.

I bought a little something for Nancy's upcoming birthday today and will get it in the mail asap.

Glad you're doing well and so happy to talk to you this week.

Blessings,
Mary

I keep my meds by the coffee pot and take them in the morning after breakfast. I still sometimes forget.
You are sounding much better and more like yourself. Enjoy your weekend.

I am so impressed with all the weight loss in your family. Like Melli, I'm not sure what foods have gluten. One of my blogging buddies can't tolerate gluten in her diet for reasons other than weight loss. Guess I need to do some research.

Don't skip your meds. Sounds like your BP is still a little high.

Well Hello!
How nice to hear from you this morning.
those rolls are dangerous.
I forgot my morning meds until bedtime last night. Even have them in one of those little containers.

Sounds like the three of you are really taking your bodies back. I need to do that do. I have been hand kneading the bread so as to get my upper ares stronger. I do not eat much of it. I like to slice the loaf real thin where I use it. Just enough to hold the thing together at lunch.

We all slept in a bit hear.
I am so glad the nurse stopped by. that was thoughtful of her.
She was probably prompted. God is watching you

I hope the weight loss is a good thing...sometimes is shows way too much stress and could be a scary sign...but if you're trying to lose the weight then way to go!!!!

I'm always happy to see that you're doing well. Makes my day, with good news like that. Keep it up.
