Sunday Thoughts.....

Kelly

Brandon and Mathias

Brandon and Kelly
age two

When I was looking for other photo's for photo hunt I saw this one of my daughter Kelly and my grandson Brandon. Yes they are the same age!! Grams and her daughter Carrie had babies together almost!! Kelly was born in December and Brandon the following Feb. this made them about 2 month apart!!
When I saw this photo I thought how fast times goes by and how much we need to cherish each day with our loved ones!! Kelly and Brandon are 28 years old now and have become lovely adults!! Brandon and his wife Ale' work with their parents in Mexico with the Youth in their church. They have one son who is 6 years old.
Kelly graduated from college and is kind enough to live at home and with Nancy and me and help take care of us! She works at the library and she and Karen have a photo studio together.
I just want all the young Mothers to enjoy these days with their little ones!! I read this over at Melanie 's blog back in June about raising babies or children " The Days are long but the Years are Short"!!!! I can't improve on that at all!! This is so true. No one told me when I was bringing up my family and wiping noses and bottoms that these always hungry, sometimes fussy at times little people would grow up to be wonderful adults who share their families and love back to you!! This has been the greatest reward of my life the love of my children toward me and all their kindness!! So don't grow weary, don't give up just pour out your love and your heart as you raise these precious little ones and it will be returned to you a in a hundred different ways.

Great Pictures. Kelly is just as cute today as she was at two. Brandon is a handsome young man. Bet they were a pair when they were two.

Oh Carolyn...I so agree with this!! The whole thing is so right!! They grow up so quickly and that time cannot be taken back ever! It is just gone and their little faces are no longer little!! i love what that mother said!! She has got the right idea!! The days are long but the years are short!! She is wise beyond her years!! Thanks so much for this wise advice

Thank you for this post. I try daily to take one day at a time and enjoy the days I have with my kids. They do grow up sooooo quickly. Some days I just wish I had my little girls back.

What a beautiful post. Of course I do not mind you using that quote at all. It's so true. Hailey is almost one and I think about it all the time. Some days seem to drag on and on- but looking back I just can't believe that a year has already passed.
This post was great and has me all misty eyed.

(On a totally unrelated and non-sentimental note- your team beat my team yesterday!)
