Wednesday and we are doing one more Christmas!!

A Brand New Year!! But we have one more Christmas to do tonight!! One of my dear friends who passed away in 1999 has two daughters that I think so much of and we either have Christmas at my house or at one of the daughters homes. We never could find a good time last year so we kept all the gifts for last year and added to them this year! The Candles melted down so they were out!! We always have a great time when we get together .
When Carrie is here she stayed at Karen's studio, yesterday she and her friends came over and we gave them the gifts we were going to send down to Mexico with Sofia's Mom when she leaves on Jan.6th. We had already opened Carrie gifts she had sent up here for us with Sofia's Mom. It was fun watching them opening their gifts! It was late afternoon and we took off for the Golden Coral!! Well that was neat and of course we ate way to much there!! We left there and went out and about and ended up over at Jey's and Sofia house with Carrie's grand kids!! My Greats!! That was so much fun!! We watched a music video High School Musical Two just the music part of the video that Valerie just loves and it was cute watching her sing along with it!

Carrie called me and she picked up some flu bug and is so sick to her stomach this morning. I think Sofia's Mom has had this too!! Hoping we don't get it!!!
I am ready for Christmas to be over and things to get back to normal really soon!! I love Christmas but it is always nice to take the tree down and pack every thing up and put it away for another year!! When will we finally get this done?? Maybe this weekend!! I just looked up at the Bear on my graphics at the top and that is how I feel today!! Fat and Fluffy!!

Good Afternoon Grams,
I'm glad yall are getting to celebrate Christmas one more time. It is always good to have everything done and put away. We still have our tree and decorations up. I will work on taking them down this week and have everything boxed up when hubby comes back home. He will put them outside in the storage shed. It is a bitterly cold day here in the South. Too cold to be out. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours. I do hope yall don't get that flu bug either.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hi Grams,
I can't believe you're still having Christmas!! lol As for me, I'm kinda relieved that we could take down the decorations last night and have a clean slate again. Did I say clean?? Not by a long shot. I need to do some cleaning too!! Old houses just seem to be much harder to keep clean.

It is very cold here today and we still have a few flurries. We got some beautiful snowflakes falling last night, pretty steady for a little while. All in all we wound up with 1/2 inch or less. It was beautiful while it lasted!!

I hope you don't catch whatever bug is going around there.

Hugs,
Hope

I'm glad you had that extra celebration, I hope you don't get sick too!
I am sick of my tree (what's left of it!), between the cats playing in it, the grandbaby running by and hitting it with her new toys and the stupid needles falling everywhere that tree has out stayed it's welcome! It is coming down tonight, we had to wait until almost garbage day!
Blessings!

Hi Grams,

Thank you for visiting me. That was so kind of you. You have a nice blog, with lots of friendly folk, and that's just what I like.

I took my tree down yesterday. The living room looks so empty without it, but I'm glad it's done.

Thanks again for visiting. Many blessings for the new year.

Be well, and God bless!

Renie

LOL! I'm feeling FAT - but not too fluffy. I have gained SO much weight in the last 4-5 months! I have got to get back to DIETing and EXERCISE ... I think I'm going to go jump on my bike as a matter of fact! I can't keep putting it off...

Sounds like your Christmas just goes on FOREVER!!! I understand what you mean about wanting to get it put away now though! I'm STILL working on that part too! MOST of it is done - but there are still bits and pieces everywhere... too much! Just tooooooooo much!!!

Have a great day Grams!
