Sunday's Thoughts!

Bill and Becky are celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary today!! Happy Anniversary from Mom, Nancy,
Karen, and Kelly!! I am sure Carrie and Aaron would say the same!! Sarah, please tell your Dad, Grams sends Best Wishes to them Both!! Bill doesn't read Grams blog very often he likes to talk on the phone to me!! I have called them earlier this morning before they left for church.
May is the month for Birthdays for this family!! The kid's step mom starts it off for the month of May on the 2nd. Sarah is this week and then Gramps will be 75 on the tenth of May! My Grandson John who lives in Mexico will be 21 in a couple of weeks. My granddaughter in law Sofia's Birthday is on the 20th and my daughter Carrie has her 51 first Birthday the last of May!!!Of course there is Mother's Day and usually graduation for someone and throw in a wedding or two and May is like walking through a mine field!! But we always get through it!!!

I will lift up my eyes to the hills From whence comes my help?

My help Comes from the Lord,Who made Heaven and earth. PS121:1,2

I love this verse and when I saw these Smokies Mountain pictures I had to post this!! We were in the Smokie's this summer and it is so beautiful!! But this verse says it all. Our help comes from the LORD!! With out Him I don't know what we would do!!!

Grams,

Sounds like you have a busy month with so much going on. There are two birthdays in our immediate family this month: Dwight will be 56 and Brandon will turn 13. I can't believe he is a teenager.

I have been to the Smokies several times and they are one of my favorite places. I toured in the fall when the leaves were dressed in their lovely red, green, yellow and orange gowns - so beautiful.

Take care and thanks for the comments on my post, as well as the prayers. We're going to need them to get through this, but all is quiet today.

Blessings,
Mary

Good Afternoon Grams,
I am just getting up and just got done eating some chicken gizzards I brought home last night from Jonesboro. I have to take another antibiotic here in a bit. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY" to Becky and Bill and "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to everyone in your Family this month. Sounds like a very busy month for you with lots of good cakes and things. Friday morning when I got up and turned the news on and saw where KC had been hit, I was wondering about you and your Family as well. I'm glad yall were okay and didn't have any damage to your place. I did see some pictures and video of the damage in KC on t.v. tho and it looked really bad. I tell ya, Arkansas has sure had it's turn of all kinds of weather this year. There's been tornadoes, snows, floods, and more tornadoes. I've also noticed on a website that there has even been a few earthquakes along the New Madrid fault which we live on. I just know that one of these days we are going to get that big one they have been talking about. The picture of the Smokey Mountains are beautiful. I went thru there with my DH a couple of years ago, but I had to get back into the sleeper tho. LOL. I could see down into the Smokies and that just got to me. I'm scared of heights. Now years ago when I was a little girl, we went thru them with my parents, but I can't remember that far back tho. LOL. I guess I'm just used to living in the flatlands and when I get up in the hills and mountains, it's just scarry to me. Well, guess I better go and take that pill now. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Wow, what a busy birthday month!!

May is busy here, too, with piano recitals and spring plays and programs at school. Usually our ladies' luncheon at church is in May but it was in April this year.

That picture is beautiful! I almost thought it was painted. Truly our hep does come from the Lord.

Happy Anniversary to Bill and Becky, 29 years, that is wonderful. Those pictures are so beautiful, and I love the bible verses. What would we do without the Lord?? I love you.

Dearest Carolyn,

Goodness gracious, I just read your post about the storm that you had over there...sooo glad that you and your family are safe and sound!! My heart goes out to those who lost their homes, that has to be a horrible experience.

That picture of the Smokies is awesome...how I'd love to be able to visit that area one day. I wish I had the money to travel from one end of Canada to the other and then one end of the USA to the other:-)

Isn't it funny how we all seem to have one month that everything happens on! My busy month is June...lots of birthdays and anniversaries that month.

Big hugs to you and your family!! xoxo

May is the same in our family. Mine was Sunday. I have an Uncle who i grew up with and is a year older whose Birthday is the 9th. My grandpa's was the 8th, Mother's was the 14, They've gone home but I still remember. I have three grandsons with Birthdays this month and a few friends so it is a busy month.
Happy Birthday and anniversary to those in your family.
