FRIDAY''S FEAST

Feast One Hundred & Sixty Two
September 28th, 2007 Category: The Feasts, 2007

Appetizer.......... How are you today?

I am fine today!! But I don't know how long it will last!! I am babysitting the Kitty Cat who got spayed yesterday....... She is asleep and I sure hope she sleeps most of the day! Kelly will be at work from 9 to 6 to today....... If she gets to frisky, I might not get out to all the blogs I would like to visit!

Soup ............. Name 3 television shows you watch on a regular basis.

I watch House Hunters on HGTV, Are You Smarter then a Fifth Grader?, and here is something I bet you don't know about me!!
Just the family does!!! I like watching the PBR on Verus on Saturday and Sunday evenings!! In fact when the PBR came to Kansas City, in 2005 Karen took me and pushed me in a wheel chair... and yes I had a wonderful time. In case you don't know what the PBR is Professional Bull Riders!! I started watching them after I hurt myself in 2003 !

Salad ............ What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced?

In 1957 on May 20th a terrible tornado came through and it was 9 days before I gave birth to Carrie!! It killed a lot of people. We lived in Independence then and we were not hurt but it was really scary!

Main Course ......... If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be?

Well. since we are pretending I would like you be in Sweden! This is where my Grandfather came from in the 1880's !! We still have kin folks over there.

Dessert............. What do you usually wear to sleep?

I usually wear a huge tee- shirt!

How neat that you love to watch bull riding! I was wondering what in the world PBR was!!

The Vikings play Green Bay this week and chances are that we will lose. If I plan on losing I don't have to be disappointed when we do and I can be happily surprised when we win! Ha!!

Have a great weekend! Love, Melanie

A bad moment for Kitty cat, but a wise decision ! I just imagine travelling in 18 hundred with a ship to America ! My uncle's grandpa did it in 1880 from Hamburg, Germany and it took 4 months ! They had to bring their own food and water !

I LOVE House Hunters! I forgot to mention that in my Friday Feast. I love seeing the different houses, and finding out which one they picked. Great show!
