Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful today for my family who came to my rescue when the hot water heater went kaput!! I always think of the one down in the basement as my new hot water heater!! It is 15 years old! Not so new! My goodness the prices have really soared on water heaters and installing one in 15 years! But Praise God it is to be installed tomorrow and we will have hot water again. Thank you Father for blessing me with a new hot water heater and a wonderful family!!

I am Thankful for the cool weather that finally came to us in Western Missouri! It is so nice to wake up to cool days!! Kelly had every door and window open today!!

I feel so bad for all the folks out in California who are suffering from the fires. My heart goes out to them, losing your home would be devastating . It is a blessing that not more people have lost their lives, but for the ones who have lost their life our hearts go out to their families

I am so thankful for the free gift of salvation from our Savior!! Praise God for this!!

Hey Grams....I think I'm finally starting to get caught up at the daisy patch (I still haven't unpacked). Mr. Wonderful is getting grumpy (a good sign that he is improving!) Hot water is a blessing...glad you will soon be enjoying it again. Missed you but glad to reconnect!

Got a phone call from my nephew last night, they are out of danager, school start back today. I praise God for that, but continue to pray for those families who weren't so lucky.

Now Grams... I knEW (without knowing) that your family would NEVER let you be without the necessary comforts in life! And I do consider HOT water to be a necessary comfort! You ARE blessed that way though - because certainly there are families who do not look after one another that way. (one in Savannah comes to mind) I'm glad your new heater will be installed SOON! Bet that first shower is gonna feel good!

We have had a little cooler weather move in too - and mORe importantly, we've had two straight days of soft gentle rains! Boy have we needed THAT! Thank you Lord!

He IS good! All the time!

15 years is pretty good. Remember to get a insulation blanket on it it really does help epically with the winter coming up. I am grateful they will help you with it.

Your words are always so inspirational. Yes, those people in California have my thoughts and prayers too. Such a sad, sad situation there.

Your Thankful Thursday is another awe inspiring piece of work Carolyn.

Lovely post and great things to be thankful for. I stand in awe that God would pick me up from where I was and then turn around and give me free salvation!

Great list! So glad you are getting your new hot water heater. We don't think much about that kind of stuff until it doesn't work anymore.

My heart goes out to those poor families in California. I just can't even imagine.

Love you bunches!

You always have wonderful thankful lists...so many of us forget to be thankful for even the simplest things in life, we just don't realize how very lucky we are!! Oh dear, what a shame about your hot water heater but glad you're getting a new one installed tomorrow...mine went a few years ago and I agree with you, they sure have come up in price!! Sunny but very cold here today...we can tell that November is just around the corner!! Love ya Grams! xoxo
