A Bonnie Tartan Day!

Nancy and Grams
Click on picture to make it bigger

Guess what these guys are talking about!!!! Not days of lore!! Who will win the game tonight KU or North Carolina!!!! You can see my head in the corner of the picture and I got a kick out of this!!!

Karen,Nancy and I had a great time at the Scottish Highlands deal today!!! It was a little chilly to start with but we put our chairs in the sun for a little while hoping Nancy wouldn't get to much sun! I have more pictures to post but wanted you all to see these!

You all who know my last name know I have a Scottish last name!! For 52 years!! But I am Swedish! In fact I am half Swedish!!!

Ok, tonight is the big game!! The Final Four!! Around in this part of the country they are in a frenzy about Kansas playing against their old coach Roy Williams! He left KU after saying he would never leave. This was 5 years ago, so Grams thinks it time for KU fans to get over it!! and go on!! They have a great coach now, Bill Self!! But that is just my opinion!!

Good morning dear Carolyn:-)

I'm finally catching up with all your news...I'm so happy to see you have a working computer again!!! Missed you so much! I didn't visit for almost 2 weeks because of having Steve here for a week and then being out of town for 4 days. That really messes up my blogging time! lol

Sounds like a really fun time was had at Tartan Day!! I love events like that, especially when the people dress in their native costumes! Truly enjoyed all the pictures:-)

We still have lots of snow here but it's slowly starting to melt. We've been having gorgeous sunshine and a bit milder temps...yesterday I sat out on my deck and it was so lovely:-) xoxo

Good Morning Grams,
Well it looks like yall had a wonderful time at the Tartan Festival. I enjoyed seeing the kilts and I don't see any of them around here for sure. I'm glad you and Nancy were able to go and have a good time. It finally quit raining here yesterday morning and the Sun came out yesterday afternoon. It's suppose to be sunny today but more rain is in the forecast for Tuesday thru Friday. I may need to build an ark or buy a boat if it keeps up all this raining. I am glad you are back and have missed you as well. I do hope your computer stays fixed this time. I have somethings for you on my post for today. I hope you will stop by when you have time and pick them up. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

This sounds like so much fun. I've always wanted to do that. We do have a lot of scotch in us too. The food they were serving didn't sound too authentic did it? Have you read the Diana Garibaldon books. They are very good and full of scotch history.
The big sports news around Memphis is the tigers going to the payoffs. I'm in exile there so I'm not a fan.
So glad your back,
Mama Bear

Looks like you both had a great time. And, it was sunny, unlike our day yesterday. We were at our grandchildren's Varsity soccer tournament, and it rained all day! All the kids were soaked from head to toe! But, they enjoyed. Their school won both 1st place trophies!

Hope Nancy enjoyed herself and didn't get too much sun.

I tagged you today, if you have time and want to play along, and also passed on award to you.
