Christmas meme

I was over at Regina's Family Seasons and she had tagged everyone to do this Christmas meme
who reads her blog!
Here goes:
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I use both!

2. Real or artificial Tree? When the kids were little it was always real now it is artificial.

3.When do you put Christmas tree up? Right after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down? We try to get it down the first week of Jan! It has been known to be up until the second week of Jan.

5. Like egg nog? No

6. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes It is really old! I got it in 1958 and I have had to replace the wood part but I still have the little figures and my grown kids don't think it is Christmas until this is put under the tree. But I stopped putting it there and I now have it on our hutch deal.

7. Favorite gift received as a child? My little record player that you had to turn the handle to make it play!

8. Hardest person to buy for? My Son in law! Sorry Aaron.

9. Easiest person to buy for? Nancy hands down.

10. Worst Christmas gift? I never had a bad gift!

11. Mail or email a Christmas Card? Mail

12. Favorite Christmas movie? A Christmas Carol

13 . Favorite food to eat at Christmas? Everything! I am using Regina answer for this one!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No

16. Favorite lights? all the colors

17. Favorite Christmas Song? O Holy Night!

18. Travel during Christmas or Stay Home? Stay Home

19. Can you name Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen & Rudolph. Ok I copied her answer for this one for sure!!!

20. Angel or Star on Tree top? Angel

21. Least favorite thing about this time of year? The crowds at the stores!

22. Which one person do you really want to see blessed this Christmas and why.
Every one! I want everyone to know of God great love for them and that is why HE sent us a Savior!!

I won't tag anyone but if you want to do this just come back and tell me you put this up and I will come over and read yours!!

This is a lovely post. I may do the meme tomorrow. I'll see how the time goes and if I can see. I have an eye appointment in the morning and it is a full exam, which means that he will dilate my pupils, which I literally hate.

I see you are online, so am guessing you haven't lost power. I saw on the news where there are so many people without any heat or lights. I will keep you in my prayers.

My answers would be about the same. Thanks for letting us in on your Christmas season. l hope you all are keeping warm and that your electricity stays on. Julie in Illinois has had it bad too just like you guys. I talked to my granddaughter yesterday and she said they were all wrapped up in blankets (and here it was almost 80) Crazy..'Sandy

Good Morning Grams,
I'm just dropping by to check in on you. I hope things are improving up there in KC. I seen some pictures of it on The Weather Channel last night. It looked bad. They said that millions of people were without power in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma and that it may be up to 10 days before electricity is restored. Hubby shut down in Cabool, MO last night and is on his way now up to Meta, Mo. I hope he doesn't run into any of that Ice. It was 73 degrees here yesterday afternoon and when I first got on the computer this morning around 4:45a.m. it was 53 degrees. It's down to 45 degrees. We had some rain overnight as well. They say we may even see some snow on Saturday. I'll believe it when I see it tho. Well, take care my friend and have a great Wednesday. May God Bless You and Yours. Stay inside and stay warm.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Am so glad you still have power. We never lost power either and the kids are back at school today. Guess we didn't get the big storm we were suppose to.

Love your answer for #13.

But, I do like egg nog. Of course my preference would be to spice it up a little with some Southern Comfort, but those days of liquor are long gone past me....can't even smell the stuff now with all the heart meds. LOL ---it's probably best for me anyway, right?

I hafta agree with you on buying for son-in-laws...they are difficult to be sure.

Thanks for stopping by. I arrived safely. I'll be going the other way day after tomorrow. It is supposed to get cold after the rain. I should be home again before it does. I will enjoy tomorrow with my daughter because it will be the last time for just the two of us for a while. Christmas will be the whole family. I'm glad you still have power.

I just put this meme on my blog this morning. I have seen it on several blogs and grabbed it and can't remember from whom. Why are the men so hard to buy for? Is it because they are men or because of their age. Hubby's no problem....he buys his own. LOL
