I received this adorable button/icon from Mary over at Mary's Writing Nook! I love it! The little black kitty is so cute. On Monday it will be one year for Mary to have her blog site!!! She has been a real blessings to me and I appreciate her so much! Please visit her and you will see why we love her.

It is fall like out side today! 59 degrees this morning! Thank you Mary for such a neat award!! She said we could pass the Autumn Friendship Award on if we would like to, and so if you would like to have this adorable award please take it and pass it on to your blogging friends!!
I must hurry now because Karen is having a garage sale today. Our town has a garage sale in the spring and one in the fall and this is the day!!
She called a few minutes ago and said Nancy had sold 6.00 of her stuff so far and to Nancy that is like who knows 60.00, she is SO happy! We are going over there for a little while so I will end this up and say once again Thank you Mary, for giving me such nice awards.
Home from the garage sale! They did good! It did start raining so that about did it for this year!
Glo just called me and said to tell everyone "Hello" from her.
She is missing everyone and is working on getting a server. She said, "Thanks to all the bloggers for praying about Mike's brother."
I sure enjoyed talking to her! Nancy likes Glo and wants to tell her everything that she can think of that is going on! Glo is so nice to her and can interact with her with patience and kindness.

Well, I'm sorry it rained on the garage sale, but am glad Nancy sold $6.00 worth! The award is adorable. I have one as well, but haven't put it up yet. Mary gives out the cutest awards. Hope Glo gets back to blogging soon. And it's always good to hear from you, Grams.

Rain? Man....I'm keeping an eye on the newest hurricane Ike that looks like it's coming into the Gulf this coming week. I'm sure it'll rain here too. And y'all will get some of it.

Oh, Carolyn, it rained on their parade and that is kind of sad. I bet Nancy was disappointed. I'm glad you did well, though.

Enjoy your Sunday. Right now we are trying to get the furnace working. It is damp in the house and is raining - again. The furnace is only 2.5 years old and I am freaking out a little.

It made me smile when I could picture Nancy being so excited about selling some of her stuff...good for her:-) What a shame the rain put a damper on the yard sale but you just never know with this time of year what the weather will be like. It's cool and raining here too so feels like a Fall day for sure.
