Kansas City Won their First Game of the season!!!

I love Peanuts and the gang! Nancy loves to watch the Charlie Brown special The Great Pumpkin. We watch this every year.

This week we will find out what the specialist wants to do about her gall stones. She has not had as much pain as she did at first. This has been a blessing.

We had a much more peaceful week then last week. We were able to get some much needed rest. The week before we had a three hospital tests/consultations and two visits to the Doctor.

Thanks for your prayers!! When everything is peaceful in your heart you can really get through the Day or Night!!

Kansas City just beat Denver 33-19!!! We had not won a game since last Oct!! We had lost 12 games in a row! So this was Sweet!! I am so glad to see them play with some passion! We have many rookies who are learning and hopefully they are getting into the swing of things!!

Dennis watched the Redskins play today -- they WON! They BEAT Dallas 26-24 (i think)... The Skins and Dallas are the BIG rivalry... always have been ... always will be! EVEN though Dallas has been beatin' the pants off us for the past 10 years! The rivalry goes back to the beginning of TIME! (that's a long time ago!)

Congrats to your Chiefs!

Tell Nancy I always loved It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown too! But I always felt soooooo sorry for Sally after she spends the whole night WAITING... *sigh*... and got NO candy!

Grams,

I'm so glad that you and Nancy were able to get some much needed rest. Be sure to let me know what the Dr. says about Nancy's gallstones.

Hubby was watching the Buffalo Bills and St. Louis game and Buffalo was leading twenty-something to fourteen. He went to bed confident that Buffalo would win. That is his time.

Have a good week, my friend.
Blessings,
Mary

I am glad that you so LOVE football!! I just cannot get into it or most any sport for that matter. Mike is watching the BEARS right now!! He is all Chicago teams and is so happy for the CUBS right now. I just let him do his thing...Smile!!

Indeed, it was a pleasant surprise to hear that the Chiefs won a game. I'm not a big football fan, but I still like it when the Chiefs do well.

Booooooooooooooooooooooo [kidding!!!!]

We didn't get to see the KC/Bronco game here in TX, of course not...we are stuck having to watch the crumby Cowboys. But I'm sure glad they lost to the Redskins! That made my day.

But, as we got glimpses of the other scores around on Sunday during the Cowboys game, I saw that your Chiefs chomped and stomped some Bronco butts! And I thought of you right away.

One of the things I like about Fall is watching football. I am not into the pros, just the SEC.

Hopefully, the dr will decide to break up the stones with laser.

I'm glad you're having a quieter week.

Dearest Carolyn,

I'm so glad to hear that Nancy hasn't hardly had any more pain with the gall stones but of course they will have to be removed before they act up again. I also love Charlie Brown and never miss the specials every season:-)

Great that your team won!! I'm not into football at all so I have no idea who is who! lol xoxo

Thank you for your prayers for Sandy.. I spoke with Sandy and I told her that there are many beautiful ladies praying for her.. She is in good spirits, her husband is not doing as well as she is.. I spoke with him and he has to take the baby home today..... New Father with new baby and wife facing open heart surgery is a tough pill to swallow........ Remember David when you pray.....

Can you believe the Chiefs Won!!!

I didn't even watch the game, I was just so sure we didn't have a chance to win. So how can we beat Denver and loose to the Raiders, which were ranked dead last in the NFL.

Maybe if I don't watch the next game they'll win that one too. ha ha
