My family and friends who read this blog say to me Mom, Grams, Carolyn write something!! We like it when you write stuff!
So, okay I will today! In blog land on Saturdays they have what they call a Photo Hunt! It sounds like fun but when I thought about doing this, I thought. Oh, Good Grief!! I no more know how to put a photo on here then fly to the moon!! I have learned to copy and paste and to link this week but I guess the next big thing to learn is to import pictures from Kelly's photo gallery!! She has a ton of them on this computer.
Karen and Kelly are gone for most of the day! I was going to use the photo of Karen at Halloween being the Joker! One the other hand I know you all wanted a post from Grams!! This post is for my Blogging friends, my family who reads this and friends!!
My Cousin Va Donna wrote me a e-mail and she said that her daughter Susanne was on a business trip in Minneapolis this week. Some of her co-workers told her don't take the I-35 bridge there is so much construction work going on right now, so she didn't!!
I called my great niece Kim, she said that her brother Kevin had crossed it earlier on his way home from work so he is fine! Curtis, Va Donna's nephew is fine too!!
We took Nancy to the Dollar General store yesterday afternoon. She wanted to get Birthday cards for a bunch of people! You know how she loves the Dollar store!!
It was so hot out, and we still haven't repaired the AC in the car so it was really horrible in the car!! I was SO glad to get in the house when we got home!! Nancy was too!
This afternoon we are going to address and do up all the cards she got yesterday!! She loves putting stickers on the cards!! She wanted to put pens in the cards but I have talked her out of this, hopefully. She loves giving people cards so much that I have to kind of reign her in a little on giving cards.
She promises all the nurses and Dr. cards all the time. She has told everyone we are sending them a Post Card when we go on out trip in Sept. I told everyone we would bring back a card and bring them to their office visits!! So far we have to buy about 25 post cards!! This makes her so happy doing this, I don't have the heart to say No!! At least this is a good thing to have her mind on!! Praise God for that!!
We had a couple of hard days lately and it sure does make you appreciate the good ones!!

Oh wow! Isn't that amazing that your cousin was kept off of that bridge! Praise the Lord! I lived in Minneapolis when my eldest was born and travelled that bridge every day to and from work... of course - that was 31 years ago! The bridge was almost brand new back then! But 40 years is NOT an OLD bridge! I really wonder what happened with it...
I'm glad you and Nancy had fun choosing cards to send! That sounds like a great activity for her! She has a kind, loving heart!
I also can help you with posting pictures. I can send you screen shots. When i say that I mean I will take pictures of the screens that you need to use on the blogger and then all you have to do is see and go there and do what i have emailed you to do. I will send them to you...Sandy
