Thankful Thursday !

Thankful Thursday has rolled around again!! I am so thankful for this week again for my AC! Today was the hottest day of the year!!

I am so thankful for my son Bill's new job! He is a Chaplain at a Veterans Home. He loves this job and thinks it is awesome! He thinks this is the best job he has ever had and is very thankful for it.He is still pastoring his church, too.
I saw him for a few minutes yesterday while they were up here visiting their daughter Sarah. Sarah had 4 wisdom teeth out on Monday and I am so thankful this went so well. She is doing just fine!!

I am so thankful that Nancy has insurance that pays for her medicine! She has a lot of expensive medicine that she has to have to stay alive! I am so thankful God supplies our needs and takes care of us every day!

Don't worry about it. i am fine with people coming to my site to visit. No problem!!!:)
In fact, I am glad that you sent her b/c "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt. 18:20 and I know He will be with Katie and her family especially at this time.
Thank you soo much for passing the info along so they can be comforted.

Hay Grams, I am tankful Nancy has all her needs met too. I wrote a novel whose lead character is a female chaplain. I am up late troubled in spirit. I have a loss of peace tonight. I watched a program with Hubby on the 1960's world history all the riots and all. That was my history it was weird to think that I grew up with parents worrying over my future. Funny thought. I am glad the children have their Father's Promise (God's)

Good for Sarah on the healing. I'm 67 and still have all 4 wisdom teeth. The VA position sounds like a wonderful gift to those folks.

That is about the only way that i can do it. I took over paying the bills about a month ago..WHEW!! Such fun..Hope your day is going well..Blessings, Sandy

Hope y'all will enjoy seeing Graceland, Elvis' home in Memphis. I loved seeing Larry King there on 8-15-07 doing a live tour and interview with Priscilla Presley. Imagine 50,000 outside holding a candlelight vigil? Proves is still "The King". Enjoyed your blog..Jon on 8-19-07

How neat that your son is able to pastor his church, but also works as a chaplain at the VA hospital. I have heard so much lately about the poor condition in the VA hospital--I am sure that you son brings much joy to the veterans.
Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

Be blessed today and always.
