Beautiful Fall Day!

It is a beautiful fall day! 68 degrees! I love it! Kelly threw open all the windows and doors! I have a large picture in the bathroom or should I say I did have a large picture!!! The wind gave a great gust and down it came. It has been hanging there for years, so I don't know why this time a breeze swept it away on the floor! Shattered glass everywhere!! Kelly cleaned it all up but what a mess!! It is still a beautiful day!!!

Here is a prayer request from Denise at Samaritan Women. Denise's niece Sandy Jackson just had a new baby boy last week and she now is going to have open heart surgery. Please pray for Sandy and her husband and the new baby Hayden. Thanks!

I sure want to Welcome Back, Denise over at Shortybears Place! We all missed her so much while she was getting better from pneumonia. It was so good to read her comment last night and see she was back again!! If you haven't been over to say Hello, I know she would love to hear from you!

Nancy saw the GI specialist yesterday. He said she must have a MRI before he can go ahead with this. He said her health is so unstable that he didn't want to do any unnecessary surgery. He needs to make sure she really needs the gall stones out before he recommends surgery.

He asked me what I thought about her getting a MRI and I crossed my fingers and said we can try. I really don't know how she will do. She will go next week for her MRI. I sure would appreciate prayer for her. Thanks for your many prayers!!

Maybe the picture can be reframed. We're having just a tad of Fall weather but it is supposed to get nippier tomorrow. The trees haven't yet shown much color.

I have offered up a prayer for you and Nancy. I know that the doctors will weigh all possible risks against the need.

That's so sad about the mother and new baby.

Hopefully your picture can be reframed. That's so odd that a gust of wind made it fall!

Maybe Nancy won't need surgery. There are some foods that trigger gallbladder attacks -- spicy or fatty foods -- maybe keeping those to a minimum will help.

You and Nancy will be in my prayers.

It's been cooler here today too. Still too warm to have the windows open during the day. Will fall ever be here?

Hi Grams,

Oh, sorry about the wind blowing the painting down. You know, we had some strong winds here and a thunderstorm with a downpour, last night. We needed rain, so I was thankful for what we did get. And it was 68 here today as well, and sunny, and glorious. I had windows open, too. Ahh, fresh air in the house!

I'll keep Nancy and you in my prayers, dear Grams. Have a nice evening.

Hugs,

Renie

Grams,

I am sorry that your beautiful picture fell. I hope you can get the glass replaced. Was the frame damaged as well?

I have Sandy, Shorty Bear and you and Nancy in my prayers. I hope that the MRI goes well and that God will give the doctor wisdom in his decision.

Blessings,
Mary

Carolyn, what I would do for Nancy with the MRI is to medicate her or have an OPEN MRI!! That is even better. I myself cannot stand the closed ones and now they have so many OPEN ones so I go with them now. She should do okay. Promise her something special afterwards...Just a though

Hi Carolyn , thanks for your visit to my place today..I am keeping busy with my granddaughter, but it is a fun kind of busy!!!

I hope Nancy can stay out of pain and have a successful MRI...I had a MRI of my back and neck area last spring. It was a bigger size closed one and it did not bother me.. The loud noise tapping on the walls may seem strange , but it was not scary....
I pray for a solution for Nancy's gallstones.. I had my gallbladder removed about 10 years ago, after having had 3 attacks..
My prayers are with you and Nancy.. hugs, Baba
