Nancy and Christmas Cards

Christmas Glitter Graphics
I haven't been able to go and visit my blogging friends today or evening and I hate that!! I won't do a Thankful Thursday that I sign up for because Kelly needs the computer again tomorrow!! I am thankful that she take working and trying to make a living seriously!! She is writing content for Karen and their web site getting it all ready to go.
Something that is usually a little hard at this time of the year is doing Nancy's Christmas cards!! But by not being able to be on the computer I told her we would do them today!! This made her incredibly happy!!
Nancy tells each and every person we meet that she will send them a Christmas card!! Then she asks for their address. I don't mean she asks in November!! I MEAN she asked for the addresses beginning in March or earlier ! No kidding!!! But since this brings her so much pleasure and she doesn't have a lot going for her in that department I go ahead and do the cards and she can sign her name. She loves stickers so we put them on the cards too!!
I have started signing my name on a lot of the cards and this helps a lot!! This way I don't end up sending two cards!!
We bought the stamps last week so we are good to Go!!
Please pray for my dear friend Denise over at ShortybearsPlaceShe is very ill with her diabetes and needs our prayers. Thanks so much.

Sounds like all is well at your place! Helping Nancy with Christmas cards sounds fun, I'm sure watching her enjoyment makes it a special time!

Could you please email me when you can?

Many Blessings!

Thanks so much for stopping by my place and pls come again soon.
Have you started your decorating yet? I don't do a lot but I do have my tree up and our stocking, hung by the chimny with care!
I'm looking forward to all the pretty decorations on the Christmas Home Tour here in blogland. I think it's in Dec...the 17th, if I'm not mistaken. Don't know if I can wait that long to post my tree but I'm gonna try!!
I just wondered if there was anyone as old as me blogging....I am still older than you! It is really HARD to believe that I am almost 70...GOOD GRIEF.
hugs, bj

Carolyn,

I'm glad that you and Nancy had such a good time doing cards. I have a few done, but have lots more personal ones to do and then the ones for hubby's clients. That is quite a few and it takes hours. However, it must be done. I will take the boys this weekend to buy those ones and then I will do them the first of the week and he will send them out.

Please keep me updated on Denise if you hear any word about her. I am praying for her.

Blessings,
Mary

Bless her heart, I too just love sending out Christmas cards:-) I have 5 boxes of them sitting on my kitchen table waiting to be addressed...will do that this coming weekend. Does Nancy like all kinds of stickers or just some particular ones? I have tons of them from when I use to write to a lot of penpals and I'd be more than happy to send her a whole bunch! I actually have a big plastic container full of them! lol Just let me know:-) xoxo

You are a great mom for doing that simple thing in Nancy's life that makes her so happy!! That is great!! I have not been over to Denise's site yet. I hope that there is something on there on how she is doing!! Poor girl...she is so young but that disease can be so bad!! horrible. Have a great day without your computer...smile.

Good Morning Nan,
I'm glad you had a good time with Nancy yesterday. I used to do the Christmas Card thing, but as postage went up, I quit doing it. You know how it is when your money is short. I loved reading your Christmas Meme and glad you enjoyed mine. I always love to learn things about my blogging friends. Well, take care my friend and have a great Thursday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Awwwwww.... ya know Grams... we all look at Christmas Cards as a "chore" - it's actually refreshing to know that Nancy gets SO much pleasure from them! I would LOVE to send her one! (if you don't mind sharing your address... you can send it to my gmail account - it's on my blog) I understand though if you DON'T want to!

Sandy was just telling me about Denise last night... I have added her to my prayers.

In March huh? That is really cute. And I can just picture her with you helping....and the Christmas stickers. Lot's o' fun, I'm sure.

Happy day to you sweet Carolyn [I almost typed the song title here..."Sweet Caroline!"]

Glad to hear you and Nancy are having fun "backing" the Christmas cards. Why did I just saw backing? That is what Mom and Daddy called addressing cards. That just flew out of my fingers. lol

Since Nancy has been collecting names since March, you will be busy for several days with this project.

Hope everything else is going well.
