Thankful Thursday!!

Here is is Thankful Thursday again!! I was so pleased to find out yesterday that Nancy doesn't have to return to KU Med Center for three months!! This is really a blessing!! She doesn't have to see her pulmonary Specialist for 6 month!! Praise God! I am so thankful she isn't any worse, she not any better but she not any worse!!

I am so thankful we were able to afford to get the cord for our computer last week!! It is a blessing to be on here touching base with all of you everyday! I am so thankful for each one of you who visit my blog! I love going out to yours and your post help uplift me and make my day not seem so hard!!!

I am thankful for our heat that came on with no problem!! It was 25 degrees last night and Kelly had shut off the heat in the day time and I woke up in the night really cold!! I got up, and turned the heat up and I thought it came on...... I woke up again and I was still cold so I got up and checked out the heat and it was turned off!!!

I turned it on, in a few minutes we had a warm house!! I don't take a warm house for granted!! There are to many people out there who have no heat or a way to pay for their heat...... Be thankful you can pay your heating bill and have a way to stay warm this winter.

It sounds like we are all going to have to turn down the thermostat and wear sweat shirts and sweaters with the price of oil going up!

I am so thankful for my Lord who sees me through every day!!! Without Him I could not make it!

I love your thankful list. I totally agree about turning down the heat & wearing sweat shirts. But I've also had those turn the heat up moments! The price of heating homes is ridiculous!
Blessings!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. We definitely need to be thankful for having a warm home when it's cold outside. It's supposed to be a low of 23 tonight where we're at. That's pretty cold.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Grams, you reminded me of something else to be thankful for. I have to amend my post now :) Our heat went out...yuck, but God provided all the finances we needed to get a totally new heat source. Isn't He good?

Grams....YES! the heat! Great reminder! It is not as cold as 25 here (Florida), but we've had some chilly mornings and it was good to be able to take the chill out of the house to get ready for work in a matter of minutes! You have a great blog! I haven't been here before...but I will be back!!!

Heat is a blessing....Woo Hoo! Good for Nancy that she doesn't have to go back for 6 months.

Gotcha all prayed up for the day.

Grams,

Thank God that Nancy doesn't have to go for anymore checkups for a while. I contiue to keep her in my prayers.

I have my TT post up for today. So many things to be thankful for. It is snowing here right now, a fine, feathery snow. I'm also thankful for heat. Our bills have been atrocious and there was one time, many years ago, when I had no heat during the coldest part of our winter.

Blessings,
Mary

I loved reading your thankful post. I can totally relate to the expense of heating. I keep telling my kids "Get some clothes on!". They want to run around all winter in shorts and t-shirts! Thanks for sharing with us and God Bless!

What a great list. Sometimes we do forget and take things like a warm home for granted. I'm sure that considering how much the price of gas is going up that heating our homes this winter is going to be expensive!
Love you bunches!

That is GREAT news about Nancy Grams! I'm so happy for you - and for HER!

It is gettin' right chilly down this way too - I believe we dropped to about 30 degrees last night. I know it was nippy when I got up this morning! And yea... oil prices sky rocketing! sheeeeesh! What timing!

I wear my pink longjohns around the house in the winter! Ha! Good thing I live in a rural area!

God Bless!

First........BRRRRRRRRRRR!! That's way too cold for me anymore. I like the warm. I said, warm, not hot. LOL

And what great news!! Yes, I know just what you mean about driving in large cities. It's not the most calm scenario here either. I don't like driving in Houston, but our son lives there, what can you do?

I got the TV programmed for the Bronco/Chiefs Game. hehehehe

Luvya bunches Carolyn.

Such a good thankful list, when I was growing up, we first had a coal stove that Mother started a fire in every morning, then gas heat that we turned down at night. Never had heat in any rooms except kitchen and living room. I always wished for a warm bedroom. You have reminded me to be thankful that all my house is warm.
